When Don Barnhart, Danny Villalpando and I shot this, (in whatever year the MTV show was popular) it was done entirely with one idea, and one camera.  The whole shoot took maybe an hour or two.  Don directed us, and he did the initial edit of “Cribz.” (It has been posted everywhere from Facbook to YouTube.) Don’s edit is awesome.  In this above edit, if I remember, iMovie had just come out, so I was more playing around with the capabilities and effects of the program more than editing.  So what you have here, is the entire cut complete with Part ll.   Featuring the very funny Danny Villalpando.  One of my favorite moments is when “the idiot” (me) starts to dance and Danny can’t help but bust up out of “character”.

People over the years have been very complementary to this little spoof, which we all appreciate.  This idea has also been “re-done” by a handful of uninspired imitators.  What I think makes this one special, is that I still entertain here from time to time.  “I’m very successful.” Enjoy.
